A motorist who was reportedly startled by a spider, overturned their vehicle on a bustling dual-carriageway.

The incident occurred on the A428 near Caxton, prompting an emergency response from Cambridgeshire Police following reports of an overturned car on Monday, May 13.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported as a result of the accident.

Commenting on the event, a spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "The cause of the accident was thought to be a spider who frightened the driver he/she remains outstanding."
