A death-defying motorist miraculously walked from this horror crash with only a minor injury - after their car was sliced in half.

The unidentified driver of the blue hatchback only needed first aid treatment after the smash which left the vehicle ripped apart in the middle.

The huge crash happened on the busy M25 near Egham, Surrey, on Monday afternoon.

Police say the vehicle collided with a grey BMW on the anticlockwise carriageway of the M25, between junctions 13 and 12, at 2.20pm.

But amazingly they reported no serious injuries and the motorway was reopened just over an hour later.

Surrey Road Police tweeted a picture of the shocking aftermath, with the caption: 'Luckily only a minor injury.

'Two Good Samaritans stopped and gave first aid and shelter - thank you.'
