Drivers Face Flash Flooding in Fremont, Nebraska

“Excessive” rain caused flash flooding in parts of Nebraska early Tuesday morning, May 21, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS said up to 7 inches of rain had fallen in most of the flood-warned areas as of 7:27 am Tuesday, though radar indicated as much as 10 inches had fallen in western Saunders County.
