Drone Footage Captures Devastation From Fire That Ripped Through Rohingya Refugee Camp in Bangladesh

Drone footage from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) captured the devastating impact of a fire that displaced an estimated 12,000 people at a Rohingya refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, on Sunday, March 5.

IOM Bangladesh said the fire, which broke out at 2:30 pm, destroyed 2,000 shelters at what is considered the world’s largest refugee camp, home to almost a million Rohingya refugees.
