Drone Footage Shows Extent of Flooding in Midland County

Drone footage captured the extent of flooding across the city of Midland, Michigan, on May 20, a day after the Edenville and Sanford dams burst, causing widespread flooding in Midland County.

This video gives a bird’s-eye view of downtown Midland, with vast swatches of floodwater visible throughout the area.

Local news reported mass evacuations across the county, including the towns of Edenville, Sanford, and parts of the city of Midland, which is home to 42,000 people.
