Drone Searches Burned-Out Valencia High-Rise as Death Toll Rises

Emergency services used a drone to analyze the remains of the high-rise apartment building that was engulfed by a deadly fire in Valencia, Spain, on February 22.

At least 10 people were killed in the fire, local media reported, citing Valencia’s government delegate, Pilar Bernabe. On Friday, police found 10 bodies during a search of the charred building, Bernabe said.

Police initially believed 14 people were missing, but four have since been located away from the building, Bernabe added.
