Dua Lipa addressed how she had landed her Glastonbury headline slot on Friday night as fans hit out at sound issues. The One Kiss singer delivered a high-energy routine packed with all her hits and impressive dance moves.

She revealed she had manifested her performance at Glastonbury - and specifically wanted to perform on Friday night for one reason. She told the crowd: "When I wrote it down I was very specific.

"I said I really want to headline the Pyramid stage on a Friday night because then I knew I could party for the next two days in the best place on earth." Dua Lipa added: "I'm trying to stay present, I'm trying to take it all in, I'm trying to feel every moment. I don't want to let this pass me by, I feel so grateful.

"I know some of you don't believe in manifestation, my parents always said you have to work really really hard to get a little bit of luck so I really stand by that as well, but one thig that's undeniable is magic. Because when I look out at you guys that is what I feel."

But while fans were loving her performance, some took to X to criticise the sound. One wrote: "Dua Lipa - either she’s miming or they’ve got the sound mix horribly wrong. It just sounds off. #glastonbury2024."

"Have they turned off the crowd noise for Dua Lipa? Sounds absolutely flat," another commented. Another fan begged: "Can someone please turn Dua Lipa’s mic up? Can hardly hear her! Every year the sound is terrible! #Glastonbury #Glastonbury2024."
