Kensington Palace has released three official photographs of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from their wedding day.

Surrounded by the full bridal party, the newlyweds are pictured standing in the green drawing room of Windsor Castle alongside the Queen, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the bride's mother, Doria Ragland and the couple's bridesmaids and page boys.

The series of snaps also includes an intimate black and white photograph of the royal couple seated on the steps of the castle, taken shortly after the carriage procession.

The images were taken by royal photographer Alexi Lubomirski, who was also responsible for taking the couple’s official engagement photos.

The bride is pictured in all three official photos wearing the decadent gown designed by Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller.

Instead of opting for adult bridesmaids and a maid of honour, the Duchess of Sussex’s bridal party consisted exclusively of children and included two-year-old Zalie Warren, goddaughter of the Duke of Sussex.

All of whom are pictured alongside the royal couple in two of the heartwarming photographs, both of which show the Duke and Duchess of Sussex looking relaxed and happy.

“The Duke and Duchess would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations of their wedding,” a statement released by Kensington Palace this afternoon reads.

“They feel so lucky to have been able to share their day with all those gathered in Windsor and those who watched on television across the UK, Commonwealth, and around the world.”
