Dundee tannoy goes full Rangers wind up as Ibrox anthem blared after hidden half-time tannoy jibe
Dundee took the mickey out of Pitchgate during their clash with Rangers - before sticking the boot in with their song choice at full-time.
The Dens Park side got the fixture on at the third time of asking after two postponements due to the state of their turf. They had sounded out St Johnstone about using McDiarmid Park as a precaution but it turned out it wasn't needed with the fine Tayside weather on Wednesday night meaning the game could be go ahead at its scheduled venue.
Before the game, and at half-time, amused punters in attendance were treated to some rain-themed tunes, such as Garbage's 'I'm Only Happy When it Rains' and The Beatles 'Yellow Submarine.' Their announcer then joked that the half-time 50/50 draw would be undertaken at the 'shallow end,' much to the hilarity of fans who were relieved to finally see the game played more than three weeks later than the initial date.
But the real Rangers wind-up came at full-time. As the celebrations after what was a priceless point for the Dens side took place, a familiar tune, to the Rangers punters at least, was heard over the tannoy. They blared 'I'm Feeling It,' which has become a terrace favourite at Ibrox in recent years.
