DWP job fairs taking place around the North East in the coming weeks

A number of job fairs are set to take place across the North East in the coming weeks.

The Department for Work and Pensions has organised events in Cramlington and Prudhoe in June, with a third event taking place in Hexham in July.

A Health and People Sector Related Jobs Fair will be held at Cramlington Hub at, Retail Park, Manor Walks Shopping Centre, Cramlington on June 4 between 10am and 2pm. This jobs fair will include all care sector related jobs, such as personal care and nursing assistant roles, but also jobs such as chef, admin assistant, groundskeeper, teacher, and security roles.

It will include a myth busting presentation for customers and lots of pre-event work will be carried out by EAs alongside Work Coaches to upskill and promote in all Jobcentres.

Prudhoe Jobs Fair is back for another year on 28 June from 10am to 1pm at The Fuse, Prudhoe, hosted by Northumberland County Council in partnership with DWP. And, the DWP

The DWP in partnership with Guy Opperman MP are holding their joint annual Hexham/Tynedale Jobs Fair on July 11. The event features jobs and opportunities from across the region.
