Eagerly awaited Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor 'All Access' documentary to be screened next week

The American broadcaster Showtime has set a release date for their Emmy Award winning documentary show All Access, which will follow both Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor ahead of their record-breaking boxing match in Las Vegas on August 26.

The first of four All Access features will air on Showtime on Friday 28 July, and will document the highly controversial world tour that the pair embarked on to promote their fight.

The whistle-stop tour visited Los Angeles, Toronto, New York and London in just four days, attracting millions of curious views as well as generating a series of headlines for the outrageous behaviour of both men.

Showtime’s All Access series promises to “provide views with an intimate portrait of some of the most compelling personalities in sports,” and has won a glut of awards.

In December 2016, the series earned a prestigious Sports Emmy Award for the third consecutive year, winning the honour of “Outstanding Edited Sports Coverage” for a film documenting Mayweather’s previous bout, against Andre Berto.

Filming for the latest documentary began earlier this month in both Las Vegas and Dublin and is expected to include footage from all four stops of the promotional tour.

BT Sport will also air their own special Mayweather vs McGregor feature before the fight takes place at the end of next month.
