East Antrim General Election 2024 results in full as DUP retain their seat

Voters across the East Antrim constituency have gone to the polls in the 2024 General Election and have choosen their new MP.

The DUP's Sammy Wilson has retained the seat that he has held since he defeated the UUP's Roy Beggs Sr in 2005.

Easy Antrim has been a historic unionist stronghold since the constituency was created in 1885. The constituency had been abolished in 1922 only to be reestablished in 1983. Since then just two MPs have represented the constituency.

Polls closed at 10pm on Thursday, July 4. Results from across the UK are expected in the early hours of Friday, with Belfast North expected to declare at around 3am.
