East Kilbride business 'torn open' as police investigate break-in at industrial unit

The rear of an East Kilbride industiral unit appears to have been torn open as police have confirmed they are investigating a break-in.

Officers arrived at the scene in the Cairn Court area at around 7am this morning (April 29), however, it is believed the incident took place over the weekend.

No arrests have been made and enquiries into the break-in are still ongoing.

Pictures from the scene show the metal rear of the building ripped apart and debris on the ground nearby. Police can also be seen standing next to the opening.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7am on Monday, 29 April, 2024, police received a report of a break-in to a premises in the Cairn Court area of East Kilbride.
