East Palestine: Crews continue cleanup on train tracks after derailment

Clean-up operations are continuing following a train derailment which led to the release of hazardous materials in East Palestine, Ohio.

Thirty-eight cars on a freight train careered off the tracks after suffering a broken axle in the village on 3 February.

Toxic chemicals have been found in the soil near the site of the crash and in waterways in the area.

The Environmental Protection Agency has ordered Norfolk Southern to pause shipments of contaminated waste from the site but has vowed that removals will resume soon.
