East Yorkshire dad’s clever invention after missing parcel deliveries
Frustration at missing parcel deliveries prompted an East Yorkshire dad to come up with his own solution.
Paul Needler, of Brough, invented the iParcelBox smart parcel delivery box system. The product has since won awards and a new, more compact model allowing even more people to benefit from the revolutionary solution, has just been launched.
Paul said he was “thrilled” to announce the latest addition to the award-winning iParcelBox product line. He said: “This innovative product offers a compact, smart, and secure solution for all parcel delivery needs, ensuring that residents never miss a delivery again.

“Launching for pre-orders, iParcelBox Medium expands the iParcelBox suite with a third size option, delivering enhanced convenience and security for modern parcel management. Using the intuitive iParcelBox app, users can monitor and control deliveries directly from their smartphones.”
Paul, a winner of the innovation and technology award at the Hull Live Business Awards in 2021, said the iParcelBox Medium ensures you never miss a parcel delivery, even if you are not home or unable to answer the door. The product keeps parcels secure from theft or damage, and protects from the elements.
“You can easily mount the iParcelBox Medium near your front door, on a gate post, or any other convenient location,” said Paul, who is also a Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday winner. “With smart connectivity, you can integrate with the iParcelBox mobile app to monitor deliveries, grant access, and receive real-time notifications.
“Set-up of the iParcelBox Medium can be done quickly without the need for professional assistance.” Paul’s latest model provides more than twice the storage space compared to similarly priced key-operated parcel drop boxes, he said.
