EastEnders' Billy to panic over Les Coker return

EastEnders' Billy Mitchell faces fresh turmoil next week when he hears that Les Coker is returning to Walford.

Billy (Perry Fenwick) has been running the Cokers' funeral parlour business since they departed the Square back in 2016, but will be left panic-stricken when he learns Les is planning to visit.

The reason for Billy's latest anxiety dates back to the tax blunder he made towards the end of last year – something which he's yet to fill Les in on.

Viewers will remember that Billy received a fine for not doing his taxes properly, but was bailed out by Jay Brown – who stepped in to pay it for him.

However, after learning that Les will soon be heading to Walford to see him, Billy is left in a dilemma – acutely aware that he should have told him about the tax evasion earlier.

Luckily for Billy, time is on his side as Les isn't planning to visit until the following week – but will he decide to confess all? Or is Les in for a nasty shock when he arrives? Or can Billy put him off from coming at all?

Of course, the tax blunder isn't the only secret Billy is hiding as he also participated in a grave robbery earlier in the month, under instruction from villainous newcomer Aidan.

EastEnders airs these scenes on Friday, February 2 at 8pm on BBC One.
