Former EastEnders star Pam St Clement has revealed how she wants the legacy of Pat Butcher to be kept alive.

It's been a few years now since we bid farewell to the Albert Square legend in that heartbreaking New Year's episode (nearly six, in fact), and although she may be gone, she certainly isn't forgotten.

So much so that Pam thinks there may even be a business opportunity in Pat's legacy, and she isn't wrong.

"I love the idea of having my own earrings on sale," she told the Daily Star.

"I've never been asked to front a range, but I should have been. I would have accepted that opportunity – absolutely.

"It would be great to do that, especially as those sorts of earrings are coming back – the biggies! They're much more in fashion now. And it's very true to say Pat was known for her earrings.

"I'd want them to be bling – the bigger the better and the shinier the better."

We think it's a great idea and a good way to keep Pat with us in spirit.

If you're missing your weekly dose of Pam and can't wait for these hypothetical earrings to come on sale, you can catch the star smoking some totally legal marijuana (above) in Gone to Pot: American Road Trip, which is now available via catch-up on the ITV Hub.

EastEnders airs on BBC One.
