EastEnders' Brian Conley discusses possible return for Rocky Cotton
EastEnders actor Brian Conley has talked about the possibility of returning as Rocky Cotton.
The comedian and entertainer played the character between 2021 and 2023, and told the Swindon Advertiser that he was glad that the character hadn't been killed off.
"I am in prison so I haven't died and that's a nice thought," Conley said. "I could get off with good behaviour."
He added that appearing on the soap "was nerve-wracking at first because the show is so iconic" but he looks back on his time on Albert Square with "very fond memories", and joked that he "really had to work on the accent".

If he ever returns to the soap, it won't be any time soon though, as Conley wants to pursue other things.
"It was my choice to leave, because you are very restricted in the show as you can't really do anything else and I wanted a break from that," he explained.
"Three years was long enough for me as it has been a wonderful journey, and everyone there is so lovely in front of the camera and behind it. They are so supportive.

"I remember Natalie Cassidy, who plays Sonia Fowler, telling me that they had all been in my shoes and know exactly what it is like to come into the show.
"You are bouncing off and having scenes with iconic characters like Phil Mitchell and being threatened by these characters. You think, 'Oh my god, I'm in EastEnders, especially when in the iconic Vic and Albert Square."
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
