EastEnders lines up dramatic scenes for Whitney Dean next week when she goes into labour unexpectedly.
The storyline kicks off as plans get underway for Whitney’s wedding to Zack Hudson.
When Bianca unsuccessfully attempts to haggle with market traders to secure some items for the big day, she enlists troubled Britney Wainwright’s help – and the youngster steals the items.
Blissfully unaware that Britney is back to her old tricks, Whitney is over the moon when Bianca and Britney show her what they’ve managed to get.
Bianca and Britney stay with Whitney as she tries on her wedding dress, but the touching scenes come to a halt when Britney reveals what she’s been up to.
Furious that Bianca allowed Britney to steal on her behalf, Whitney removes her as the maid of honour and orders Bianca out of her life for good.
Later, Lauren comes to Whitney’s rescue by finding her a hen outfit to wear and is shocked when Whitney asks her to be the maid of honour.
Lauren masks her panic and accepts but struggles to hide her guilt about her one-night stand with Zack.
As Whitney and Zack’s ‘Sten-do’ gets underway, Bianca feels hurt when Whitney makes it clear that she’s in no mood to forgive and forget.
When Bianca overhears Whitney make out that Lauren is a saint, her jealousy gets the better of her.
Despite initially keeping Lauren and Zack’s infidelity a secret from Whitney, Bianca gives Lauren an ultimatum and demands that she tell Whitney the truth – or Bianca will.
With the pressure mounting on Lauren to reveal all, she tries to share her doubts about Zack with Whitney but can’t bring herself to reveal the whole truth. However, the conversation leaves Whitney less than impressed with Lauren.
Penny tries to smooth things over between the pair by locking them in the taco van until they work things out. As Lauren builds up the courage to tell Whitney the truth, Whitney’s waters break.
Trapped, Whitney and Lauren’s cries for help go unnoticed and Whitney begins to panic as she goes into labour. Will Whitney and her baby be okay?
