Danny Dyer's not one for mincing his words, so it should come as no surprise to learn just how candidly he talks about losing his virginity.

Even when his daughter is sat right next to him.

As part of a brand new series from Channel 4, Danny and his 11-year-old daughter Sunnie are set to join a handful of celeb parent-and-child duos as they broach the topic of sex.

Although a guaranteed laugh, the aptly-titled Let's Talk About Sex is all about opening up a conversation on sex – as well as puberty, masturbation and contraception – as secondary schools prepare to introduce mandatory sex education from 2020.

Keen to break down the taboo of talking about sex, Danny reveals to his daughter Sunnie that he started having sex with her mum "before [he] started puberty" (via The Sun).

"14? You had sex at 14?" a stunned Sunnie replies. "That's like me having sex at 14!"

Not on Danny's watch, it isn't. "Well, that won't be happening," he warns.

Of course, Dyer is no stranger to talking frankly about the human body. Earlier this year, the EastEnders star delighted viewers with his musings on codpieces for Danny Dyer's Right Royal Family.

While choosing the finishing touches to his Tudor-era outfit for the show, Danny assured fans: "I don't need a big codpiece because what's underneath is, erm, Godzilla."

Let's Talk About Sex will air on April 5 on Channel 4.
