EastEnders' Dean Wicks will take shocking action after learning that his daughter Jade is leaving the country.
Dean has been trying to reconnect with Jade ever since she returned to Walford towards the end of last year.
Upcoming scenes will see Dean become increasingly controlling with Jade, who is desperate to have some independence.
Jade continues to seize the opportunity to get some much needed freedom by playing matchmaker between Dean and newcomer Fern.
She sets them up on a date but this doesn't go to plan when a disgusted Amy spots Dean with Fern, and exposes Dean's dark past.
Later in the week, Jade wrestles with her guilt over some news she needs to share with Dean.
She tries to muster up the courage to tell Dean that she's moving to Pakistan with Shabnam, but is unable to bring herself to do it.
After a heart-to-heart with Jean, Jade heads to Beales Eels to break this to a deflated Dean.
As expected, Dean reacts badly to the news and becomes determined to find a way to stop it happening.
Dean initially seeks advice from a solicitor but it told that there is nothing legally to stop Jade moving away with Shabnam.
Dean then decides to take matters into his own hands and comes up with a sinister plan to get Jade to stay.
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
