The Di Marco family joined EastEnders in 1998, along with Marc Bannerman who played brother Gianni.
But with the exception of Greco, the family were written out in 2000 when their Italian restaurant suffered financial difficulties and they moved to Leicester.
Rosa's character was killed off in 2002 when Beppe revealed she had died of a heart attack. As a result Beppe also left Albert Square and moved to Leicester to be with his family.
Since he left the soap Greco has taken part in reality shows Celebrity Love Island and Soapstar Superstar and played a police officer in Casualty in 2017.
He has been cast in upcoming The Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes and stars in true-crime drama The Lonely Hearts Killer on Amazon Prime.
Greco became a father for the first time in 2021 at the age of 51. His son Gianluca was born prematurely in July 2021 and spent the first few weeks of his life in the Intensive Care Unit at Great Ormond Street children's hospital.
Greco recently hit out at Hollyoaks for casting reality TV brothers Curtis and AJ Pritchard in the soap.
The brothers’ acting in the Channel 4 soap was savaged by fans, and actor Gerard McCarthy labelled one of their scenes an “absolute car crash”.
