EastEnders fans loved the soap's Mitchells flashback episode so much that they are calling for a full series of the iconic soap family's back story.

On Monday, BBC One aired a one-off special episode exploring Peggy, Eric, Phil, Grant and Billy Mitchell's lives in the 70s and how the environment of toxic masculinity at home made the family what they were in their troubled later days.

Another fan replied: "They just need to make a whole Mitchell series with that exact cast at this point!"
