EastEnders' George gets a shock in the ring in latest episode

EastEnders spoilers follow from Monday's (May 13) episode.

George Knight received a shock in the boxing ring in tonight's (May 13) episode of EastEnders.

His partner Elaine Peacock returned to the Vic after finding out about George and Cindy's kiss, and George didn't seem bothered by her departure. Cindy then arrived and Elaine was about to confront her about the kiss before Cindy told her about George's plan to fight again, despite his brain condition.

"You heard the doctor, one more blow to the head and we could lose him for good," Cindy said before telling Elaine they all needed to work together to stop him.

The Knight women confronted George, but he wouldn't change his mind. "It's me, it's who I am," he told them, adding, "It's in my blood."

Gina tried to blackmail him, saying she'd burn his mother's tape, but was unsuccessful. In a later bid to stop the fight, Anna tried to contact Junior, George's son who he hadn't seen in years.

That night, Anna, Cindy, Elaine and Gina headed to the warehouse to stop George from fighting. When George entered the ring, however, he was shocked to see his opponent was Junior.

Meanwhile, Bianca Jackson told Whitney Dean she could help with her wedding flowers, but then failed to get a reduced price from the market. Britney stepped in to help her, by tricking Billy Mitchell and stealing from him.

Whitney, Bianca and Britney shared an emotional moment as Whitney tried on her wedding dress. However, the mood soured when Britney revealed what she and Bianca got up to earlier.

Elsewhere, Amy Mitchell was feeling jealous of Denzel and Ebony's friendship. She told Penny Branning she wanted to sleep with Denzel that night. Penny said she should only do it if she was ready. Later, at Denzel's party, she asked him to go upstairs with her...

Yolande Trueman decided to go on holiday with Patrick after Levi assured her it wouldn't weaken her case against Pastor Clayton. Denzel asked Yolande to let him prove he could stay by himself when they go away.

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
