Yahoo News EastEnders' Jay Brown faces new heartbreak after Emma return

EastEnders has some fresh heartbreak in store for Jay Brown as he discovers that Lola's mum Emma Harding is back in Walford.
In upcoming scenes, Jay is worried about Lexi being cagey with her phone and finds out she's been texting Emma, who has returned to Albert Square.
Emma reveals she and Lexi have been messaging for weeks unbeknownst to Jay and Ben, adding that she's really concerned about her granddaughter following the loss of her mum.

An angered Jay throws Emma out, but Callum Highway pleads with him to give her a chance for Lexi's sake. Emma asks for another sit-down the following day, hoping that Jay will finally listen to what she has to say.
Elsewhere on the square, Ben Mitchell isn't thrilled about Emma's return either, banning Lola's mum from seeing Lexi.
Later on, Kathy Cotton advises Jay to put Lexi's feelings first. Given the girl loves her grandma, he should let her spend time with Emma. During their chat, Emma shows Jay the anguished messages Lexi has been sending her.

Lexi reached out to Emma because she didn't want to upset her two dads further, leading to a heartbroken Jay making a promise: he will speak to Ben about letting Emma see Lexi.
On her part, Emma continues to push for access to Lexi, which Jay reluctantly allows. Lola's mum promises never to leave Lexi again, but Ben soon crushes her hopes to be part of her granddaughter's life.
