Massive congratulations are in order for EastEnders’ actress Natalie Cassidy, with it being announced that her camerman boyf, Marc Humphreys, has only gone and popped the question.
Oh, and if you’re wondering, SHE SAID ‘YES’.
ALL THE CHAMPAGNE EMOJIS.
According to a source, Marc got down on bended knee over the weekend, when the couple were celebrating their first anniversary together.
The insider revealed to The Sun: “Family and friends are thrilled for Natalie and have been buying gifts for them to celebrate.”
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the BBC confirmed: “She is really happy.”
The 32-year-old, who plays Sonia Fowler in ‘Enders, recently opened up about her split from the father of her daughter, Eliza, Adam Cottrell.
Admitting that she tried to keep their family together for the sake of her now five-year-old, Natalie explained: “It was my decision. I’m really glad I gave it another chance.
“When kids are involved you almost have to. I can always say to Eliza, ‘Mummy tried, but it didn’t work out.'”
Adam was charged with assaulting Natalie throughout their relationship, carrying out 120 hours of community service after pleading ‘Guilty’ to his crimes.
Thank goodness Natalie has finally got her happy ending, eh? In fact, we think we might dig out our old trumpet to celebrate…
