Happy times for EastEnders star and full-time icon Natalie Cassidy today, after the star revealed to fans on Twitter that she’s expecting her second child.
It’s the actress’ first child with her new fiancee – freelance EastEnders cameraman Marc Humphreys.
Natalie – best known to audiences as trumpet-playing busybody Sonia Fowler – announced the news last night.
She wrote: 'Evening all… Time to let everybody know that @cameramarc and I are having a baby in the summer. The three musketeers become four.’
Her Albert Square co-star Matt Di'angelo – who plays the dastardly Dean Wicks – was one of the first to congratulate the soap star, tweeting: ‘This makes me very very happy. Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!! XXX’.
Natalie’s pal Denise Welch also wrote: Huge congratulations to @Nat_Cassidy and @cameramarc on their pregnancy!!!! So pleased xxx’.
Natalie already has a daughter Eliza, who she shares with her former partner Adam Cotrell. The couple split in 2013 after a tumultuous few years together during which he admitted assaulting her twice.
However, the actress and weight-loss wonder went on to find love last year with cameraman Marc, who works on the hit BBC1 show with her.
The couple then got engaged in October.
