EastEnders’ Nish Panesar is set to return to Walford with shocking news for his family.
Nish left Albert Square back in February, when his physical and emotional abuse was exposed and his family forced him to pack his bags.
However, this exit was never the end of Nish’s story, and he will make a dramatic return to the show next week after several months away.

In scenes that will air on Monday (May 27), Suki and Eve are shocked when Nish turns up unannounced on the No. 41 doorstep.
He says that the reason for his return is practical, as the solicitor has sent both copies of his and Suki’s final order divorce paperwork to him.
Nish’s return is not welcomed by the Panesars, who change the locks so he can’t gain access to the house, but after manipulating granddaughter Avani, he eventually gets inside.

Suki, Ravi, Eve and Vinny give Nish a hostile reception, but they are soon silenced when he reveals the shocking news that he is dying.
While he insists he is telling the truth, the Panesars accuse Nish of lying and kick him out following his revelation.
Nish attempts to win his family round and tries to convince Priya of the truth, but Ravi tells him to stay away.

Later, he catches up with Nugget at McKlunky’s and begs him to hear him out, but Ravi spots his son with his dad and is furious.
Approaching the pair, Ravi shoves Nish, but things get more serious when Nish falls and is rushed to hospital.
Later in the week, Suki asks the Panesars to vote on whether to let Nish back into the family, and he desperately pleads his case.

Ravi is particularly conflicted about what to do, especially when both his children come to his dad’s defence.
But there is another surprise on the way, when Nish reveals a decision that will send shock waves through the Panesar family…
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
