EastEnders offers first look at big Zack and Whitney scenes

EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders has offered a first look at Whitney Dean and Zack Hudson's joint 'Sten-do'.

Whitney decided to take a leaf out of Honey Mitchell's book and propose to her partner Zack in Thursday's episode (May 2), on a high after learning she was able to officially foster schoolgirl Britney.

Whitney is still unaware that Zack cheated on her with her best friend Lauren Branning last week, and that her step-mum Bianca Jackson knows all about it.

Monday's episode (May 6) will see Martin and Chelsea take on their respective stag and hen party duties for Zack and Whitney.

The pair arrange a date for later this month and EastEnders has released some brand new pictures previewing the occasion.

The scenes, which will air in the week commencing May 13, see Whitney and Zack's friends and family gather for a party at The Vic.

The pictures show how the residents of Walford have all dressed up to celebrate the happy couple.

With tensions already rife between Bianca, Lauren, Whitney and Zack, things threaten to get even more dramatic when a shock event descends chaos on the celebrations. Will the wedding go ahead?

That remains to be seen but it's already been confirmed that Shona McGarty will be leaving her role as Whitney, with her final scenes due to air in the next few weeks.

Shona has since landed a new role after filming her exit scenes as Whitney and is set to play Jenny in 2:22: A Ghost Story during its run in Dublin.

She will join Once Upon a Time's Colin O'Donoghue, Love Island's Laura Whitmore and Strictly's Jay McGuiness for a limited run.

Tickets are available to purchase from Ticketmaster, with performances available from Tuesday to Sunday.

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
