EastEnders offers first look at Sharon and Keanu's Christmas wedding

EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders has offered a first look at Sharon and Keanu's festive wedding.

The couple will prepare to tie the knot on Christmas Day, but some major secrets threaten to stand in the way of their happiness.

Back in February, the BBC soap gave us a brief time-jump teaser to Christmas 2023, showing The Six (aka Sharon, Linda, Stacey, Suki, Kathy and Denise) all standing over a dead body.

The scene also showed Sharon, who was single at the time, in a wedding dress, sparking months of speculation about who she'd be tying the knot with.

Paparazzi pictures showing the cast and crew filming the wedding back in October confirmed that Keanu was indeed the man in question, following his on-off relationship with Sharon this year, while recent scenes have seen them settle on a Christmas Day date.

The brand new images show a radiant Sharon walking down the aisle with Albie, while Keanu stands proudly at the altar.

However, whether they make it through their vows is another question.

Viewers know that Keanu is still hiding the shocking truth about staging Albie's 'kidnap', and has even thrown his mum Karen under the bus to protect himself.

Sharon is also keeping a major secret of her own, having recently found out that Albie isn't actually Keanu's biological son – he's Phil's.

Whatever happens, fans are in for some unmissable episodes over the festive season as we finally get answers over the dead body mystery involving 'The Six'.

EastEnders has recently narrowed down the possibilities to just seven Walford men, leaving only Keanu, Phil, Nish, Ravi, Jack, Rocky and Dean in the running.

Discussing Sharon and Keanu's relationship, EastEnders' executive producer Chris Clenshaw recently told Digital Spy: "I think it was all kind of fun and lots of mischief when they were having an affair a few years ago, but they're quite different people when it comes down to it."

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
