EastEnders to reveal Ian Beale’s big secret in dramatic scenes

EastEnders is set to reveal Ian Beale’s big secret next week, as Cindy finds out the truth.
This week, Ian’s behaviour will attract suspicion from both Cindy and Peter, as they are concerned that he is hiding something.
Ian clears things up by telling them that he is thinking of running for the council again, but they don’t buy his explanation.

He heads off to a council meeting, but Peter takes action and checks with the council, and when he finds out that Ian was lying, he demands his dad tell him the truth.
In scenes that will air next week, Ian prepares to leave for an alleged leadership course in Manchester, after telling Cindy that she isn’t able to go with him.
Peter is still suspicious, and Cindy also has her concerns about where he is going, especially when she peeks at the contents of his suitcase.
She decides to speak to Kathy about her worries and questions her about Ian, assuming she is covering for her son.

After Kathy gives her some advice, Cindy decides to confront Ian directly and ask whether he is having an affair, something he strongly denies.
But Cindy later makes another discovery that sends her suspicions into overdrive, and she asks George to drive her to a mysterious address.
Peter later finds out where Cindy is and, determined to find out the truth, decides to borrow Martin’s van to follow on.

Meanwhile, Bobby is also curious, and when Peter won’t keep him in the loop, he secretly gets into the back of the van.
While it has not yet been revealed what Cindy and George find when they reach this address, Peter and Bobby arrive as they are confronting Ian, adding to the drama.
Back at the house, Cindy is unable to sleep, exhausted by what has unfolded over the past few days.

She eventually decides to speak to Ian, but she is in for yet another shock as her partner has another revelation for her.
Upset by the conversation, Cindy heads to The Vic for a drink where she is consoled by Peter.
