EastEnders reveals Josh and Fi's real connection

EastEnders has finally revealed the connection between Fi Browning and Josh Hemmings – they are brother and sister!

We already knew that there was a personal connection between the pair thanks to a call Fi made to Josh a few weeks ago – with some fans speculating that they could be siblings.

As it happens, that theory is bang on the money as Fi and Josh's relationship was finally unveiled in tonight's scenes, after Tina Carter incorrectly assumed they were an item.

When Josh came to meet Fi – whose real name is actually Sophie – in the cafe, he explained that Lauren had asked him to go to Steven's funeral the following day and he needed support from his big sister.

Although Fi was understanding of her brother's responsibilities to Lauren, she urged him not to let her down tomorrow, hinting at an important date they've clearly pre-arranged.

"It's too late to change," Fi said to Josh when he told her about Lauren's request. "Everything is in hand – dad's really looking forward to it."

Viewers will have to tune in tomorrow to see what the duo are planning, but who is their dad? And what are they up to?

EastEnders continues tomorrow night (September 22) at 8pm on BBC One.
