Yahoo News EastEnders shock arrest for Vincent in new Max twist
EastEnders' Max Branning targeted another victim tonight (August 18) as he got Vincent Hubbard arrested for drug possession.
We had already revealed how Max (Jake Wood) could be about to sabotage the big holiday Carmel and her friends had planned, after he was coerced into joining them to keep up the pretence of his fake relationship.
When Carmel excitedly asked Max to join the trip to Spain, his real partner Fi Browning encouraged him to attend if it kept her onside.
And while Max did his best to fake some enthusiasm for the vacation, his true intentions became apparent in Friday's scenes when he told Fi the trip wouldn't be happening.
Sure enough, the police were soon arriving as Carmel was preparing to head out of Walford with Max, Denise, Kush, Vincent and Kim.
As they searched Vincent's car, a drugs package was quickly located – much to the clan's horror. Before long, Vincent was being arrested for possession of cocaine, while a smug Max watched on in triumph.
How much longer can Max keep getting away with his actions? And what does the latest turn of events mean for Vincent?
