Crisis at Kat and Phil’s wedding
There are a couple of barriers to Kat and Phil getting their happy ever after. One is Alfie (see below), another being Sharon, who’s on a mission to win back her ex-husband.

When Kat inevitably gets wind of Sharon’s scheming, she hits the roof and the two women have a war of words. But will Sharon listen to Kat and back off? It’s certainly looking doubtful, what with her later arriving a the church to make a final bid for Mr Mitchell…
Alfie returns
The bride-to-be is to get an almighty shock when Alfie (Shane Richie) returns out of the blue, and with a plea that she not marry Phil.
Kat, though, is far from pleased by the reappearance of her ex and puts him firmly in his place. And Phil too wastes no time in squaring up to Alfie when he discovers that his love rival is back in town.
After being told to leave by Kat, we’ll then see Alfie head back to the canal boat where he’s currently staying, only to realise that Bert and Ernie have snuck into his van. With Kat forced to retrieve the twins, she realises that there’s a risk she’ll be late for her nuptials.
And an already fraught situation is set to get even further out of hand when the boys refuse to get off the boat, while Alfie makes a last-ditch effort to make Kat see that marrying Phil would be the wrong decision. But will it be enough to change her mind?
Frankie gives her statement to the police
Mick feels he needs to encourage Frankie to call the police about the man who harassed her, and enlists the help of Lola and Ben. Eventually, with support, Frankie gives her statement to Jack.
But she’s left feeling disgruntled when Jack tells her that the chances of getting a conviction will be low. Later on, Frankie spots Nugget and Denzel interacting with a clearly uncomfortable Amy, which only increases her rage. Cue Linda with some words of wise counsel for Frankie.
Frankie’s desire to stand up for women is further fuelled when she and Lola face hassle from a bunch of guys at Walford East, with Ravi having to shut them down. By Thursday, Frankie has resolved to pull Denzel and Nugget up on their behaviour towards Amy. She does so at work – and subsequently thanks Linda for her support.
Vinny v Finlay
Finlay invites Dotty for a drink after the two of them bond over their respective fathers. But the sight of their growing closeness leaves Vinny jealous and he ends up punching Finlay.
Ash then goes on to offer some reassuring words to Vinny, who subsequently tries to call Dotty – unaware that she is, at that moment in time, in bed with Finlay. Expect Vinny to be left devastated when Dotty tells him about what’s happened…
Freddie causes more chaos
Rocky has made a major error as regards the wedding: he’s forgotten to order a car. So, Monday’s drama will see him frantically trying to source a vehicle with the help of Bobby and Harvey.
Once a car is found, it turns out to be in a disastrous state, so Dotty helps them to fix it. Freddie, meanwhile, offers to find a hat for Janet and ends up stealing the wedding car in order to hunt for one. Except Bobby is still in the back…
Billy is left panicked when he learns what’s happened. So, will Freddie (and Bobby) make it back to the Square in time for the ceremony?
