EastEnders spoilers: Ben arrested, Sharon and Kat are at war
Ben is told he could face prison on EastEnders next week, while Sam fears her sins will be exposed, and there's a war brewing on the square.
It’s your full EastEnders spoilers guide to the week of 11-14 July 2022.
Is Ben heading for prison?
Kathy is sick of Ben and Peter’s bickering, and so insists that they both attend a games night she’s organised to mark Rocky’s birthday. Peter, though, seems more concerned with secretly getting passionate with Dana, while Ben couldn’t be less interested in playing the games.

Later in the night, the atmosphere sours further and tensions between Ben and Peter increase. And then the police arrive on the scene to arrest Ben – Peter, it transpires, has reported him for the assault.
The week’s drama then ends with solicitor Ritchie warning Ben that things are so bad that he could be sent down. Kathy, meanwhile, tries to talk to Peter but he refuses to back down, so she gives her statement to the police and tries to cover for Ben…
Mitch blows his top at Avery
It’s still rather frosty at the Taylors’, where Karen is trying and failing to persuade Mitch to talk to his brother Avery.
However, after receiving advice from someone entirely unexpected, Mitch decides to give his sibling the benefit of the doubt. However, the air of forgiveness soon evaporates when the pair fall out – and, pretty soon, a furious Mitch is demanding that Avery leaves.
By Wednesday, Karen will have decided that enough’s enough and puts the pressure on Mitch to give Avery another chance. And this time, she’s making sure that the rest of the family are on hand to support her argument. All of which gives Bernie and Bailey an idea, with the two of them then going on to confront Mitch at the cab office.
Shock events leave Kat and Sharon at war
Last week’s surprise turn of events (and, no, we can’t yet reveal what happened) have left Sharon concerned for Kat’s welfare. But when the two women come face to face, they struggle to remain civil and end up having a huge argument.
Sam, meanwhile, is worried that her plan to bring down the Mitchell empire will be discovered. But surely not? Big betrayals rarely get exposed over summer – that kind of drama must surely be saved for Christmas!?
Kim takes drastic action
Howie is preparing to move to his own place, as Kim has encouraged him to leave. But just as he’s about to go, she has a change of heart and purposely re-injures his foot so that he has to stay for longer.
By Thursday, though, she’s trying to make things up to Howie by cooking him a meal. But will the best way to his heart be through his stomach?
Sam and Zack get flirty
Zack continues to feel sorry for himself about the sudden recent departure of Nancy, but Sam notices him looking forlorn and decides to offer up some words of encouragement.
And, naturally, it isn’t long before the pair are seen flirting again. Might we be in for a repeat performance where their passion is concerned?
