Easyjet 'delighted' to roll out change for passengers departing UK from today

Easyjet has announced it is putting 60 new flight routes on sale at 11 airports across the country. Easyjet, which is rivalled by the likes of Ryanair, Jet2, TUI and more, says the deals and flights include city breaks, winter sun and summer beach resorts.

Our flights and holidays are available for even more and brand new destinations including Tromso in Norway and the French city of Strasbourg, further strengthening our unrivalled short-haul European network and providing customers with even more fantastic choice and great value.”

EasyJet’s new base Birmingham has already seen the launch of 16 new routes this year and the airline has announced another five: Prague, Marrakech – both year-round – as well as Krakow, Reykjavik and Innsbruck.

EasyJet is also expanding its Glasgow network, with three new winter sun destinations to Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Marrakech respectively. It will also launch a year-round city route to Prague and will introduce flights to Agadir in Morocco from Edinburgh.

In Liverpool, passengers will be able to visit Berlin twice a week, Fuerteventura once a week, and Marrakech twice a week, as well as weekly flights to Malta. Prague will be flown to three times a week by the airline.

From Leeds Bradford, easyJet will operate to Geneva during January and February 2025, and a service from Newcastle to Lyon will start in January. A year-round service to Paris from Newcastle will operate six days a week from October.

Bristol is also getting new flights, with a new year-round service to Agadir launching on October 27 and operating three times a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. In Manchester, an additional route to Djerba will also launch from Manchester on November 11.

EasyJet has also announced its second route to Akureyri in Northern Iceland from Manchester, too, and is expanding its Zurich offering.
