The 26-year-old star has said he’s trying to make as much money “as possible” from music royalties in 2017 by writing a number of soon-to-be-released tracks for other artists, in the hope his hard work will eventually pay off.

Ed previously wrote Justin Bieber’s huge hit single ‘Love Yourself,’ and revealed to The Sun: “I am hell-bent on trying to get as many cuts for other artists this year as possible.”

He added: “I’ve got a lot of stuff coming out – you’ll hear one of them very, very soon. They will all come out by the end of the year.

“There are seven or eight main singles coming out for other people.”

The news comes after the megastar said he spent three months hibernating in his London flat because he could not cope with fame.

The Castle On The Hill singer opened up about how becoming an internationally recognised artist has impacted on his life and sadly admitted he retreated into his west London abode and didn’t leave the house for four months because the pressures of fame were too much.
