Ed Sheeran stopped his Cardiff concert twice to go to the bathroom

When nature calls - it calls.

It doesn't matter if you're stuck in the middle of the woods on a three-mile hike, or you're Ed Sheeran performing to a sold-out crowd in Cardiff. The Grammy award-winner paused after performing "Galway Girl, noting that he "needed a pee".

On his return, he told fans: "I've been gigging since I was 14 and I've never done that. And now I do it in front of 60,000 people."

Three songs later, Sheeran stopped in the middle of "Photograph", before telling the crowd "I'm so sorry Cardiff" and running off stage to the bathroom once more.

Thankfully, Sheeran could count on his loyal fans patiently waiting for the musician to return, as the 60,000 crowd cheered as he made his return. He then promptly continued to sing exactly where he'd left off, ever the professional.

Sheeran's Saturday show in Cardiff marked the penultimate gig in the UK leg of his Divide World Tour; he'll continue on to Amsterdam on Thursday. He'll perform his final gig at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Sunday night, making him the first artist to have four successive nights at the arena.
