Ed Westwick is a married man, and soon, he'll be a dad, too.

After proposing to Amy Jackson during a ski trip in January 2024, the couple got married in August 2024 — first in a civil ceremony in London and again during a lavish wedding in Italy.

"For me, [marrying Ed] means having a life partner to adventure with, to share love and support, to create a beautiful family and to have each other's backs throughout all of life's moments," Jackson told PEOPLE. "It's about building a future together and creating endless memories, knowing that we are a team through it all."

In October 2024, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child together. Prior to dating Westwick, the Supergirl actress welcomed her son, Andreas, with British property developer Andreas Panayiotou.

She started her career as a model

Jackson was born in the United Kingdom and began her modeling career at 15 years old. In 2009, she was crowned Miss Teen World after winning the Miss Teen Liverpool and Miss Teen Great Britain pageants.

Her pageant work landed her a modeling contract with Boss Model Management and, later, Models 1 in London. After graduating from teen pageants, Jackson won Miss Liverpool in 2010. She then competed for the Miss England title and was named runner-up.

She is a Bollywood star

In 2010, Indian film producers saw Jackson’s profile on the Miss Teen World website and invited her to audition for Madrasapattinam, which would become her first foray into Bollywood. She has worked in the industry since, racking up over 20 credits, including 2018’s 2.0, which was India’s most expensive Bollywood film at the time of its release.

She has starred in movies that feature Tamil, Hindi and Telugu as their main languages and expanded into an international audience. Jackson told Lifestyle Asia that touching people in different corners of the world — she also starred in The CW’s Supergirl in 2017 — has been meaningful to her.

She and Westwick met at a race track

The two first crossed paths at a fall 2021 Aston Martin racing event on the Silverstone race track. A mutual friend introduced them and they discussed their furry companions — Jackson’s poodle Herbert and Westwick’s Frenchie Humphrey.

Westwick ultimately asked Jackson out on a double date with their dogs at a coffee shop in Hampstead, winning her over.

“He knew how to win me over from the get-go … coffee and dogs,” she told Lifestyle Asia.

Westwick is close with her son

Before Jackson met Westwick, she was in a relationship with hotelier George Panayiotou. The two were engaged when they welcomed their son, Andreas, on Sept. 19, 2019, per India Today, but later broke up.

Jackson has since introduced Westwick to her son and the two have formed their own bond, she told Lifestyle Asia.

“He’s the kindest, most caring human being to my little boy, Andreas — I love their relationship,” she said.

Westwick is supportive of her career

Westwick may be a successful actor in his own right, but he makes time to also be supportive of Jackson’s career.

“We share a passion for creating and growing as individuals and as a unit — I’ve never had someone who supports and encourages me to wholeheartedly explore my true self,” she told Lifestyle Asia. “He makes me feel like I can do anything.”

In the same interview, Westwick said he had watched a number of his then-girlfriend’s movies and was proud of everything she’d accomplished. He even accompanied her on a trip to Mumbai, where she lived for a few years as she worked on films in the region.

“It’s great fun,” he said of her work. “She’s had a great career, and I’m in awe of everything she’s achieved, and I’m really excited for her upcoming projects.”

Westwick proposed during a ski trip

Jackson and Westwick were enjoying a trip in Gstaad, Switzerland, when the actor got down on one knee on Peak Walk by Tissot, a hanging mountain bridge.

The happy couple announced the news in a joint Instagram post, with Jackson writing, “Hell YES 💍” in her caption under a carousel of photos of the two rejoicing over the special moment.

The Deep Fear actor reposted the images on his Instagram Story, writing, “I hit the jackpot xxx.”

She and Westwick wed in August 2024

The couple officially tied the knot on Aug. 9, 2024, during a civil ceremony in London. Just weeks later, they hosted a lavish 220-guest wedding in Italy.

Jackson, who wore a custom gown by Italian designer Alberta Ferretti, met Westwick and her son — Andreas served as the actor's best man — at the altar.

"We both wanted [Andreas] to be an integral part of this special moment," Westwick told PEOPLE. "He walked down the aisle with me, carried the rings and waited for his mother with me."

The bride added: "I think it [was] a really beautiful way to honor their bond."
