Edinburgh A720 City Bypass drivers facing rush hour delays as heavy rain hits

Edinburgh drivers were warned of delays on Tuesday, after an incident on the bypass.

This comes after a live lane breakdown on the A720, at around 4pm. This led to one lane being restricted at Baberton.

Police were on the scene, with delays of up to 18 minutes expected. Heavy rain covered the capital during the incident.

Traffic Scotland posted to X: "UPDATE 4.31pm A720 - Baberton (EB).

"One lane remains RESTRICTED due to a live lane breakdown Trail back of traffic forming TRISS are at the scene.

Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
