Edinburgh A720 City Bypass incident sparks delays as emergency services race to scene

Edinburgh City Bypass drivers have been warned of delays following a road traffic incident on Sunday afternoon.

It's understood to have happened at around 4.45pm on January 19 at the A720 Baberton Eastbound.

The route is currently restricted and motorists have been advised to approach with caution. A 12 minute delay is expected.

It's currently unclear how many vehicles were involved and whether any injuries were sustained.

Traffic Scotland wrote on X: "A720 (E) between Baberton and Dreghorn is currently restricted due to a road traffic incident, road users should approach with caution.
