Eight bottles of champagne stolen from Waitrose supermarket

Eight bottles of champagne have been stolen from a Waitrose store - a day after a similar incident of alcohol theft at the store.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with a theft that saw eight bottles of champagne and a bottle of Jack Daniels stolen from Waitrose, The Furlong, Ringwood.

The theft took place on Saturday, June 1.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Do you recognise the man pictured?

"If you have any information please contact us online or on 101 quoting 44240239733."

This comes after Hampshire Police appealed for witnesses in connection with another theft of champagne also at the Waitrose store on the The Furlong, a day before this incident.

Alcohol including champagne was stolen from the store between 8.15am and 8.35am on Friday, May 31.

The force released CCTV images of two men they believed could assist their investigation.
