Filming themselves during a break in training, Cülcüloğlu wrote: "Can't believe we just flew in the air."
Essex then said: "It's just insane," reiterating to fans that he was "actually just flying".
"We were both flying," he added, in disbelief.
After being announced as a contestant for the dancing competition, the Love Island star said: "I'm so excited for the team. I can't wait to get myself on the ice and skate. Stay tuned, and see you on the ice!"
Essex and Cülcüloğlu join an all-star lineup that also includes former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer, Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton and The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran.
Former footballer John Fashanu, comedian Darren Harriott and Coronation Street actor Mollie Gallagher are also competing in this year's show.
The contestants are rounded up by Carley Stenson, gymnast Nile Wilson and drag queen The Vivienne.
The rest of the on-screen team is the same as the previous season with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby returning to host while the judging panel will be made up of Christopher Dean, Jayne Torvill, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse.
Before appearing on Love Island, Cülcüloğlu worked as an actress in Turkey where she had a leading role in Kuzey Yıldızı İlk Aşk.
Since winning the show, it has been announced that Cülcüloğlu will front a travel show with her partner and fellow Love Island victor Davide Sanclimenti.
Dancing on Ice is set to premiere on ITV sometime in January 2023.
