Elba man arrested, accused of sexually abusing young girl he lived with, DA says

COFFEE COUNTY, Ala (WDHN) — An Elba man is behind bars without bond after investigators claimed he had sexually abused a young girl.

Sean Keith Williamson was arrested on Wednesday, May 1, and charged with two counts of rape in the first degree, two counts of sodomy in the first degree, and five counts of sexual abuse of a child under 12.

According to District Attorney James Tarbox, an investigation by Elba Police revealed Williamson had been sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl who lived in Williamson’s home.

Williamson is being held in the Coffee County Jail without bond pending an Aniah’s Law Hearing.
