Eleven arrested on suspicion of murder as man dies in hotel lobby after being stabbed on London street

Eleven people are being held on suspicion of murder after a man died in a hotel lobby having been stabbed outside on a central London street.

The victim stumbled into a hotel in Euston Street in Camden on Monday night before collapsing in front of staff.

They rushed to help the man and police were called at about 10.45pm, but 45 minutes later he was declared dead.

The suspects were taken into custody at separate London police stations, the Metropolitan Police said.

Scotland Yard said inquiries were taking place to identify the victim and inform his next of kin.

A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.

Officers remain at the scene and cordons are in place.
