Ellon assault prompts police appeal after man 'punched on head and body'

Police in Aberdeenshire are appealing for information after an assault which saw a man 'punched to the head and body.'

The reported incident took place on Ellon Bridge in the town's South Road at around 10.10pm on Wednesday, June 19.

A male was assaulted in the incident by a perpetrator who police believe was wearing either a grey or black t-shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information relating to the incident can contact police on 101, or by using the "Contact Us" form on the Police Scotland website.
