Ely and East Cambridgeshire General Election 2024 results see Lucy Frazer lose seat

Lucy Frazer has lost her Ely and East Cambridgeshire seat as the Liberal Democrats took the seat in the 2024 general election. In a night that has seen serious losses for the Conservatives, Frazer achieved 16,632 votes.

However she was beaten by Lib Dem candidate who received 17,127 votes. Labour came third on 1,960.

People living in the Ely and East Cambridgeshire had a choice of nine candidates on their ballot papers. These included the big parties - Conservatives, Greens, Labour, Liberal Democrats and Reform UK.

The Social Democratic Party and the Official Monster Raving Loony Party also put candidates forward. Two other candidates stood as independents.

  • Cane, Charlotte Kathryn Bourne ( Liberal Democrats )

  • Cogan, Andy (The Green Party)

  • Coogan, Ryan Ashley (Reform UK)

  • Frazer, Lucy (The Conservative Party Candidate)

  • Henry, Hoo-ray (Official Monster Raving Loony Party)

  • McWilliams, Elizabeth Anne ( Labour Party Candidate)

  • Monye, Obi (Independent)

  • Rawlins, Rob (Independent)
