Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke has finished filming on the untitled Han Solo movie.

After previously confirming that Donald Glover and Paul Bethany had wrapped shooting, Ron Howard revealed Daenerys Targaryen is also done.

He wrote on Twitter: "@emiliaclarke has wrapped filming on #UntitledHanSoloMovie. She's given us a terrifically strong & exciting character. Fun 2 work with, 2!"

Emilia is apparently playing a character called Kira, though the only official word on her role is that she will be one of "a dynamic cast of characters that Han and Chewie will encounter on their adventures".

Last month, a Reddit user shared a photo of a toy production catalogue for Star Wars, appearing to reveal the spin-off will be called Han Solo: A Star Wars Story.

It would certainly make sense for it to follow in the same format as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, meaning all spin-offs – like the reported Obi Wan movie – could have A Star Wars Story in the title.

Meanwhile, Howard has been reassuring Star Wars fans that the spin-off movie is "coming along great" after he joined the project late.

"It's a fantastic script, a great cast and I am having a fantastic creative experience with it," he enthused. "Smart, funny people who love their characters and love being part of this. I think we'll be able to do something that is a lot of fun."

Whether or not it's called Han Solo: A Star Wars Story, the movie will hit cinemas on May 25, 2018.
