The 32-year-old told BBC Radio 4: "My whole life, I’ve been sexually harassed. In the streets, I’ve been flashed. It's happened since I was 10.

"Now I'm sexually harassed online every day. I find it really tough. I did the documentary to talk about the implications."

She added: "I'm very damaged by the things that have happened to me.

"I'm constantly being blamed for it all. I'm a very sexually liberated woman, I talk about my life in that way. I'm constantly told I'm to blame.

"I'm trying to show in this documentary it’s not our fault."

Atack previously told The Sun that she had had to involve police over one persistent offender.

She said: "It was quite stalker-ish – this person saying they knew where I lived, saying what they were going to do to me, even my family. I got the police involved and it was the last time.

"To be fair, the police tried to be helpful. They cared, but they hit a dead end because they aren't allowed access to IP addresses and Twitter etcetera won't give them out.

"So I just lost – you put your faith in the police, the people who are supposed to protect you, but I just lost faith in that system. There’s only so much they can do."
