Emily Atack was the picture of maternal bliss as she enjoyed a romantic stroll, looking radiant and ready to welcome her baby any day now.

The 34 year old actress from The Inbetweeners was spotted out shopping with her partner, Dr. Alistair Garner, sporting sunglasses, and a stylish black and grey dress paired with a beige jacket. The couple is eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child, with Emily having shared that their little one is expected in April, reports the Mirror.

Having known each other since childhood, Emily and Alistair's relationship took a romantic turn in recent years. Interestingly, their families are intertwined, with Emily's mother, actress Kate Robbins, and Alistair's stepmother being sisters, making the soon-to-be parents step-cousins.

Emily announced her pregnancy late last year and has since moved in with Alistair as they prepare for their new family member. Discussing her pregnancy on Loose Women, Emily expressed her astonishment at discovering she was having a boy, especially after experiencing symptoms typically linked to expecting a girl, not to mention battling heartburn and fatigue.

She shared her feelings on the show: "It's not a barrel of laughs is it? ! It's so exciting, it's very, very hard but I feel extremely connected to my body in ways that I've never been before. I used to get told off by my friends for not looking after myself enough and staying up too late and all of that and now I'm like, 'No, my body is a vessel'. It's so important that I get an early night and I'm really looking after myself."

"I've had a blow up, not a glow up! Everyone's saying, 'Oh you're going to be in your glow up era, you'll be in the gym doing pilates' [but] I'm like a hen sitting on an egg! I haven't moved. No, it's incredible, it's amazing and I'm so excited."

Additionally, she couldn't hide her excitement over expecting a boy: "We weren't going to find out and I'd been very sick, the sickness is very, very tough and then we were at the scan and he said, 'Do you want to know? ' and I said, 'Can you write it down on a piece of paper but not show us? ' and then when we get home, we'll do like a mini gender reveal to the family you know."

"We did that and I couldn't believe it because everybody told me, 'You're definitely having a girl' because of the sickness, you know all those myths, but it's a boy!"

Emily has big plans for her son-to-be. During a previous appearance on BBC Breakfast back in March, where she was discussing campaign efforts for affirmative consent in relationships, she voiced how she wishes her son to be part of the positive changes.

The celebrity stated: "I'm six months [pregnant] and I wasn't going to say this, but I am going to say this - I'm having a boy. So I want him to be a part of a really positive change and I want him to grow up knowing he can talk about these things openly and enjoy his life. I want him to be on the right side of history."
